Accreditation

Accreditation of Gerontology Education Council (AGEC). AGEC is the only governing body for accreditation in gerontology, and the University of Utah is the seventh accredited program in the world. All courses and degrees map to the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education competencies.

Student To Faculty Ratio

The student to faculty ratio is dependent on the course. Our courses are kept smaller to allow for more individual attention, greater student-faculty interaction, and a more collaborative learning environment.
